Management Team

The principals of Project Solutions Group came together with a shared purpose: to guarantee our clients the very best in project management consulting. We combine enthusiasm with expertise, offering a highly personalized service that stresses accomplishment, professionalism and an unflinching commitment to excellence.

Tom R. Westcott
CEO and Founder

With more than a decade of teaching and training experience, Tom Westcott has educated and inspired thousands of professionals across the globe in subjects ranging from advanced mathematics to project management.

Tom began his career as a consultant and project manager for Cambridge Technology Partners, where his exceptional professional accomplishments and superior mentoring and presentations skills made him the natural choice to spearhead CTP's training and development initiatives. As manager of project management development, Tom implemented a highly acclaimed six-year development program that became mandatory training for every CTP project manager. Tom later replicated this success as director of staff development for Akibia, Inc., a CRM consulting organization, where he oversaw all training and staff development for Akibia's offices worldwide.

In founding Project Solutions Group, Tom is fulfilling a long-term ambition to design, develop and deliver practical, effective project management training and consulting services that transcend the usual "fluff" and deliver measurable, quantifiable results. Tom has worked with a number of organizations, both large and small, including Lucent, EBS, MIT, and Chubb & Sons, while remaining a much sought-after presenter at industry-sponsored seminars and corporate events. To every engagement, Tom brings contagious exuberance, real-world examples, firsthand experience, and a unique ability to inspire and motivate any audience, leaving a compelling message that resonates long after the training is complete.

Tom attended Brooklyn College and the Massachusetts Institute for Technology, where he studied English and mechanical engineering. He is also a published author.
